Message from the Principal

To Our Students, Parents/Guardians, and Community Partners:

It is my pleasure and honor to serve as principal of Bayou Lacombe Middle School. I am extremely proud and excited to continue moving our community forward through the actions and processes at this school!!

Along with the teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established at BLMS by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. We will continue to emphasize the importance of strong academics in Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies coupled with a climate that strives to let every student reach their full potential.

Our entire staff: teachers, paras, custodians, counselors, secretaries, cafeteria staff etc..., work together and tirelessly to make sure the students have the safest and most rewarding experience. The teachers work collaboratively in a Professional Learning Community (PLC) using data to drive methods to increase student achievement.

As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors-teachers, students and parents-are excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment.

I would like to thank each of you for remaining active in the education process of the students at Bayou Lacombe. Feel free to join our PTA or help out at school functions.
